Dorset Neeley

Dorset Neeley, has worked in the property tax industry for 40 years. In 2004, she was employed by Spring ISD as a tax clerk and currently holds the position of Assistant Tax Assessor Collector.  Her prior work history of 26 years was with Transamerica Real Estate Tax Service as a Regional Manager representing all taxing entities in the state of Texas.


She earned her Registered Texas Assessor (RTA) designation in 2009, her Certified Tax Assessor (CTA) designation in 2015, and her Certified School Tax Assessor (CSTA) designation in 2017.  She was CTA of the Year Award nominee and a finalist at the state level in 2016. She was the first to be awarded the Up & Coming Award on the local level and a finalist at the state level in 2013.  She was CTA of the Year Award nominee and won the CTA of the Year Award at the state level in 2017.


She has served as President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Trustee of TAAO Gulf Coast Chapter and is currently serving as Past President; served as Chairperson of ICTA Membership committee, as a member on TAAO Conference and ICTA Fundraising committees and numerous committees at her local Chapter.  She is currently serving as Chair of the Texas School of Assessing Officers Certified School Tax Administrator (CSTA) designation committee.
