Janet Jennings-Doyle
Janet Jennings Doyle attended McNeese State University for 2 ½ years. She has served in the property tax industry for 18 years. In 1998, she was employed by North Forest ISD as tax clerk which lead to interim assistant tax assessor collector. After the county took over that office, she joined Linebarger, Goggan, Blair and Sampson/Cypress Fairbanks ISD as Tax Support Coordinator in 2007. There she mentored and trained all new employees within the property tax office. After taking courses to earn her CTA, she became aware that her knowledge needed to be well rounded, and challenged that will aid in becoming an effective course instructor. In 2012, she joined Pritchard and Abbott, Inc. for the most complex oil and gas appraising duties. She earned her RTA in 2009, her CTA in 2012 and currently waiting for her level IV examine to earn her RPA.
She has actively served the Gulf Coast Chapter as trustee, secretary, treasurer, vice president, President, served the unexpired term as the Region 6 Director, and recently voted to serve as the 2016–2018 Region 6 Director. She has attended the Texas Assessor Association Instructor Workshop with plans of becoming a certified course instructor in 2016. She is responsible for creating the state’s newest award “Up & Coming” to spark the interest of new members of TAAO while serving on various local and state committees. She was also a CTA of the Year Award nominee in 2014 and 2015. She was a contender for the ICTA board, won the Mentor of the Year in 2013, won the Up & Coming Award on local and state level in 2015. She continues to serves TAAO and her local chapter by serving as the 2015–2016 TAAO & ICTA Conference Co-Chair, ICTA Nominating Chair and Fundraising Committee. She created the Gulf Coast Chapter’s website. She continues to find ways to improve communication, boost the interest of tomorrow’s leaders, and inspire those around her.
